This 4-day advanced workshop will enable Craniosacral practitioners to deepen and develop their verbal skills to support clients through difficult or traumatic experiences. The workshop offers a vision of human functioning built around the formative process. Each situation in life requires that we organize a form and a behaviour to meet it and function effectively. When we encounter difficult, challenging or traumatizing situations, we organize ourselves the best way we can, yet we are often ineffective and struggle to attain our goals and needs, instead finding ourselves immersed in conflict and struggle. The verbal and interactive skills that will be practiced in this workshop will penetrate deeply into how we and our clients organize ourselves in challenging moments and experiences, and how we can access the implicit or unconscious memories at the heart of most of our reflex and voluntary responses to life situations. We will draw on the ‘Formative Psychology’ work of Stanley Keleman, the work of Dr. Randolph Stone in Polarity Therapy, and the principles of Craniosacral Therapy to build a simple procedure to clarify, define and help resolve some of life’s more complex issues.
