* NINE PULSES AND FIVE SUBTLE WINDS *

WITH MICHAEL SHEA B.A., M.A., Ph.D, B.C.S.T.

NOVEMBER 15TH-18TH 2018

This advanced workshop will present a new view of the human body, with skills derived from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Tibetan Medicine, which will be integrated with Biodynamic Cardiovascular Therapy (BCVT), providing a clinical method for working with metabolic disorders. ‘Nine pulses’ refers to ancient locations and meaning for taking a pulse in TCM. Each of these primary pulses is associated with an artery, an organ system as well as the flow of Primary Respiration (PR). The five subtle winds of Tibetan Medicine will be taught and sensed via the perception of PR. These five winds arise from fulcrums located near the third ventricle, heart, respiratory diaphragm, duodenum and kidneys. Together the nine primary pulses and five winds represent an advanced understanding of the Ignition process in BCVT.
