Healing from the Core: Reclaiming Health After Trauma – at Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust

Trauma is a fact of life and it can exist at all levels and in all people. The consequence of holding unresolved trauma in the body is that we lose our capacity to be present, to be resilient, and to experience the joy of being alive. This workshop will explore the depth and breadth of what heals us after trauma. It will present skills that can be directly taken into clinical practice, as well as helping ourselves; including ways to effectively refill energy reservoirs, to grow and find steadiness in our cores, the use of breath to calm the CNS, touch skills to down-regulate the fight-flight-freeze response, and finding whole-heartedness to heal traumatic memories. This workshop is open to all hands-on therapists.
