* GUT FEELING: THE MICROBIOME IN CLINICAL PRACTICE *

WITH VIOLA SAMPSON R.C.S.T., B.C.S.T.

SATURDAY 30TH JUNE 2018

How might orienting to the microbiome support digestive health, restful sleep and psychological wellbeing? We will explore pathways of communication between the gut microbiome and the central nervous system, known as the ‘microbiome-gut-brain axis’. Through this lens, we will look at common scenarios in clinical practice, including digestive issues, irritable bowel syndrome, Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), as well as sleep disruption, stress, trauma, depression and anxiety. This workshop deepens into material from previous classes while remaining accessible to those new to the subject.

Cost: UK£100/£120

Venue: Skylight Centre, Islington, London, UK
